Be sensitive to the Spirit. Moments. Promptings.

This has been our prayer ever since arriving in Myrtle Beach.

Not always in the dramatic miracles or the perfectly timed breakthroughs—but in the quiet reminders that He's near.

Here's a quick praise & moments of gratitude for the early days...

We have a home, food on the table & boxes unpacked.

A neighborhood full of new families.

The joy of our kids experiencing new things + making friends.

A fenced yard for our 4 & 5 year old boys to run wild. (if you know, you know)

A beautiful beach not too far from our front doorstep.

Local pastors inviting us into the city.

The list goes on. PEOPLE! MOMENTS! ROOTS!

Note: When we first made the move, we had a million thoughts. When? Where? How? Who? Timeline? And just a few weeks in, we still feel those questions & get asked every few days. The learning curve has been: prayer, simplicity, living on mission. Every day mission has opened our eyes to God in sharper ways. Lord, open our eyes to see You in our lives.

As we've continued to pray for affirmation, a few things stand out where we've looked at each other and said: "That's definitely the Lord." We wanted to share one experience that we think may encourage you.

The very first morning we woke up in our new house, we were downstairs unpacking when Cash suddenly yelled, "GEESE!"

We all ran to the window. Outside our fence was the largest group of geese we had ever seen. We counted them—30 in total. They walked around our yard all day...

That little moment sent us down a rabbit trail. We learned that a group of geese is called a gaggle, not a flock as we'd always assumed. The kids loved it, and honestly, so did we.

A few days later, Carson and Cash were fishing in a canal in Surfside Beach.

Another gaggle.

Again... 30 geese.

At that point, it felt like the Lord was inviting us to pay attention.

As we dug a little deeper, the wild goose has often been used as a picture of the Holy Spirit—untamed, impossible to control, always leading us into adventure and deeper dependence on God.

This is our season following the "wild goose."

The Holy Spirit has been speaking to us in small, yet significant ways—through nature, conversations, Scripture, and moments that never felt as sharp as they do now. Surrender. Open hands. Daily trust.

Jesus said, "Seek, and you will find." We have found that to be true. The more we intentionally look for His fingerprints, the more we notice they've been there all along.

Jesus said in John 15:5:

"Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."

Our goal isn't to chase extraordinary experiences.

It's to abide, stay close to Jesus & experience life with Him.

The wild goose is our reminder that the journey is not predictable, not always comfortable, but He is leading the way as we go.
